ACTVET and EmiratesSkills
ACTVET is closely associated with EmiratesSkills, a national skills initiative focused on identifying and developing talented Emirati young people. EmiratesSkills gives participants opportunities to develop practical skills and compete in national, regional and international skills competitions.
ACTVET leads the UAE’s EmiratesSkills team at WorldSkills competitions. For WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, the team includes 17 young Emirati competitors competing across 16 technical and vocational skills.
This international participation gives young competitors an opportunity to demonstrate their technical abilities and gain experience in a global skills environment.

ACTVET Admissions

- Click “Sign up” if you are a new student. The portal specifically provides a student registration option.
- Create your student account and provide the information requested by the system.
- Select the relevant school or institute/programme available to you.
- Complete the online application and submit the required information/documents.
- The system applies the approved admission criteria for the selected institution. ACTVET states that admission is only permitted when the applicable criteria are met.
- Some applicants may also be required to undergo interviews or assessments, depending on the institution and programme.
- After the admission process, students and parents are notified electronically about whether the application has been accepted or rejected.
