Procedure to open an account with Emirates Islamic Bank
- Any Emirates Islamic branch can be visited to open an Emirates Islamic Current Account. Filling out an account opening form and supplying the documentation needed to start a current account.
- Provide all the necessary information in the application form accurately and honestly.
- You can also visit online and check the requirement. However, you cannot open a current account online.
- If applying in person, submit the required documents and the completed application form. If applying online, you may need to upload scanned copies of the documents.
- The bank will review your application and documents for verification. This process may take some time, depending on the type of account and the bank’s procedures.
- Sometimes, you might be required to make an initial deposit into the new account. The amount will depend on the type of account you are opening.
- Once your application is approved and the initial deposit is made (if applicable), you will receive your account details, which may include an account number and other relevant information.
Eligibility
- Minimum balance requirement of AED 3,000.
- Minimum salary of AED 5,000.
- Accessible to both persons and companies, including partnerships, sole proprietorships, joint stock companies, and limited liability companies.
Documents Required
- Valid passport with residency visa (for expatriates).
- Emirates ID (for UAE nationals and residents).
- Utility bills (electricity, water, or gas) in your name.
- Rental agreement or property title deed.
- Some banks may ask for recent passport-sized photographs.
