How to register as a pharmacist in Abu Dhabi?

The first required thing to work as a pharmacist in the UAE is to pass the Ministry of Health examination from Dubai / Abu Dhabi.

Procedure to get a Pharmacy License in Abu Dhabi

  • Create a username and password (if you haven’t already), register for e-services, and then utilize the e-system.
  • The facility, acting as the customer, is required to use the licensed facility’s account to access the website service for licensing professionals and submit the necessary paperwork and data according to the license.
  • The Ministry of Health and Prevention must be consulted by the client regarding the transaction.
  • The application will be reviewed by the relevant personnel. The application will be accepted if all requirements are met, and the transaction will be forwarded to the facility for online fee payment.
  • The transaction will be automatically forwarded to the Ministry of Health and Prevention once the client (facility) has paid the fees via the website.
  • The concerned officer will accept the application and carry out the last examination of the transaction after receiving the fee. The initial license, renewal, cancellation, or change of title will be approved if all requirements are met.
  • The Ministry of Health and Prevention must receive the necessary documentation from the client (institution).
  • If all requirements are satisfied, the concerned employee will approve the application and grant the final license.

  • At least two years of experience is required.
  • The applicant’s job history should not show a gap of more than two years.
  • The assessment certificate is valid for Five years only.
