Types of Visa
1. Airport transit visa (symbol A)
- It enables the bearer to travel through airports’ international terminals and wait there before boarding a flight for the intended destination.

2. Transit visa (symbol B)

This kind of visa may be granted for a single entry or many ones.

4. Long-stay visa (symbol D)
- Nationals of other countries are permitted to enter Romania and remain there for up to 90 days with a national long-stay visa.
5. Diplomatic visa and service visa (symbol DS)
- If they possess diplomatic or service passports and are required to perform an official duty as members of the staff of a foreign diplomatic mission or consulate accredited in Romania by their state of origin, third-country nationals may enter Romanian territory on diplomatic and service visas (symbol DS), typically for a long-term stay.
