To obtain an online Malaysian tourist visa, it is necessary to follow 3 simple steps:

• Fill in the online application form
• Use a valid credit or debit card to pay the eVisa fee
• Once you make the payment, you will receive the confirmation email and approved online visa if it is accepted.

Procedure to apply Malaysia Visa from Abu Dhabi, UAE through Malaysian Embassy, Visa Application Center

1. You can either visit the Malaysia Embassy in Abu Dhabi (or)
2. Visit the Malaysia Visa Application Centre (VFS) in Abu Dhabi
3. Mail to the embassy / consulate address and request for the application form
4. Visit any travel agency in your residence

Documents required

• IM47 Visa Application form (MUST BE TYPED)
• 2 passport size photos (white background, dark shirt)
• Original passport with 6 months validity from date of travel, copy of passport (for each applicant)
• Valid UAE Residence Visa copy
• Copy of Hotel Reservation / Invitation letter
• Letter of Invitation to stay (addressed to the Embassy or Consulate General of Malaysia) from relative / friend / sponsor of the Applicant indicating full address in Malaysia (MUST BE TYPED) Passport copy, copy of Malaysian Visa Page or Malaysian ID
• Flight reservation (Entering – Exiting Malaysia)
• Bank statement (Current 2 months)
• Salary Certificate (not applicable for company Partner visa holder)
• NOC from UAE Residency Visa Sponsor
• Complete set of VALID Trade License copy
• Invitation letter (for business purpose visit)
• Vaccination Proof

  Visa Validity

• A tourist visa is valid for 3 or 6 months

Processing time

• Standard processing – visa application is processed 3 to 5 working days
