Organised by Liwa Sports Club and DCT – Abu Dhabi, this year’s festival will take place between Friday December 8 and Sunday December 31. Held on (and around) Moreeb Dune, the UAE’s tallest sand dune which rises 300 metres high, the annual Liwa International Festival is all about motosports.

Horse Race General rules and Regulation

• Participants under 18 will not be permitted.
• All participants should be present at starting point 2 hours prior to race time.
• It’s compulsory to bring original horse passport (WAHO)
• All riders must wear a helmet
• Pre-race inspection will be conducted by the organizers
• In the case of seven horses or less are participating, the prizes will be awarded for the first three places only.
• In the case of eight horses or more are participating, the prizes will be awarded for the first five places.
• In case of less 5 horses will close the round.
