UAE’s Abu Dhabi The UAE’s national airline, Etihad Airways, has opened flagship premium lounges at the recently constructed Terminal A of Abu Dhabi International Airport. This comes after Etihad created history on October 31, when it launched the first commercial flight out of Terminal A. The new lounge is unveiled before the airline’s complete relocation to the new Terminal, which is scheduled to happen in phases between November 9 and 14.
Situated between Piers C and D on the north side of Terminal A, Etihad’s striking new lounges take up three floors. Various dining, lounging, and entertainment areas, including the breathtaking Constellation Bar at the enclosed Roof Lounge, are available in the First and Business lounges to accommodate all visitors.
“When designing the Etihad Lounges in our new home, Terminal A, our teams thought through every detail, ensuring an experience that will delight our guests from the moment they step through the door,” said Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer, Etihad.
“The lounge is a hugely important aspect of our guests’ journey and we wanted to curate an impressive experience that will leave them wanting to fly again soon. In true Etihad style, we’ve been innovative with the design and will offer a selection of memorable experiences whether our guests choose to relax, indulge in various dining options or enjoy a refreshing drink at the signature Constellation Bar,” he continued.
Visitors traveling in Etihad’s First and Business Class and Etihad Guest members who meet the eligibility requirements can access the Etihad lounges. Subject to availability, passengers flying in economy can purchase access to Etihad’s Business Lounge in order to enjoy the premium lounge area.
For further convenience and efficiency, passengers in premium seats can board directly from the Lounge thanks to its handy location near three gates that provide direct lounge boarding on specific flights.
The Lounge’s East and West Study provides guests with a serene and peaceful haven where they may enjoy unobstructed runway views while watching airplanes take off or land.
Dining decadence and Rooftop lounge
The Business Class lounge at Etihad offers a variety of culinary options. There are several stations throughout the lounge where patrons can help themselves to various appetizers and hot and cold beverages for those who would choose something lighter.
The Roof Lounge’s Constellation Bar is adorned with a custom-made, 172-piece, 25-meter-long glass lighting sculpture called Panora that features the skyline of Abu Dhabi. The bar, which will include a large assortment of wines, mocktails, cocktails, and other drinks, is expected to draw frequent visitors.
The Relaxation Rooms provide passengers with secluded areas furnished with luxurious Armani Casa furniture and day beds, ideal for rest and rejuvenation in one of the 18 exquisitely designed shower rooms prior to their trip. For those who would rather have a more exciting experience, there is a fully functional table football, air hockey, and digital gaming area in the Games Room.

Chesterfield couches also add luxurious comfort to the Smoking Lounge for cigar and cigarette smokers.
Prayer rooms have also been meticulously created for comfort and convenience with ensuite ablution areas.
