Abu Dhabi Social Support Program

The Abu Dhabi Social Support Program, launched in January 2019, aims to provide financial assistance to low-income Emirati families with civil status extracts in Abu Dhabi. The program aims to achieve living stability and independence, empower members to work, and provide them with a decent life through strategic partnerships.

Eligibility 

  1. Applicant must be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates
  2. Must hold a family book of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
  3. Total family income must be less than the family support line
  4. The family wealth is less than 6 times the support line

How to apply for Abu Dhabi Social Support Program?

You can apply through the government services platform (Tamm) , using your UAE PASS digital identity account. The system will automatically verify your data, and in some cases may require uploading documents that support the application.

  • Final divorce ruling document from the Judicial Department – Execution Department.
  • Ex-husband allocates for housing the ex-wife if there is no electricity or water bill in her name.
  • The application includes all children who share the residence and counts them when a non-support document from the Judicial Department – Execution Department is attached.
  • Removing the son (marriage contract – water and electricity bill – rental contract).
  • Removal of daughter (marriage contract for daughter).
  • Children living with the ex-wife ( allocating a home ).
  • Death (death certificate).
  • To prove independence of a relative and dependent outside the family structure, an electricity bill, rental contract, or residence declaration must be attached.
    1. If her citizen husband is deceased, a death certificate and an approved power of attorney for the mother will be required.
    2. If her ex-husband, a citizen, does not provide for the children, a non-support document will be required from the Judicial Department – Enforcement Department.

    If you need to add members (outside the family structure), what proof is required?

    • A legal document proving that the applicant supports the added individual, if he is not in the support applicant’s record.

    For Individuals outside the country

    • A certificate proving that individuals are outside the country and what the reasons are (treatment – education – work).

    Families of prisoners

    1. Judicial ruling indicating the type and duration of the ruling.
    2. A certificate of proof from the penal institution of the inmate.
    3. An authorized agency for the applicant (wife, one of the children, or someone representing them).

    The total income of a citizen family with limited income is calculated considering all its members, according to the following sources of income:

    • Residential / Commercial real estate.
