Abu Dhabi offers a free car breakdown assistance

Is there anything worse than having car trouble in the midst of the road? It’s good to know that Abu Dhabi now offers a free car breakdown service.

On Tuesday, the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi tweeted about the new service.

“In case your vehicle breaks down while driving on any of the highways of Abu Dhabi Emirate, contact us and we will send you a Road Service Patrol to assist you for free,” the authority tweeted.

Drivers can make a service request by calling 80088888 or using the DARBI app.

As part of the free auto breakdown service in Abu Dhabi, your car will be towed to the closest gas station or garage so that it may be checked to see if you have enough fuel and whether it is safe to drive on Abu Dhabi roads.

To maintain constant road safety, the free automobile breakdown service also hauls away wrecked vehicles from accident scenes.

After it was reported that the UAE may increase gasoline prices in December, the free auto breakdown service was announced. Yikes. In August, September, and October, prices decreased; however, in November, prices rose by 9% in accordance with the global upswing.

That could indicate that gas prices will likely increase once more as December approaches. Despite the fact that UAE gasoline prices are now 33 percent cheaper than the global average, a price increase could signal that the UAE is considering bringing the price more in line with global trends.
