Abu Dhabi Mobility has converted Bus Service No. 65 into a fully eco-friendly route using hydrogen and electric buses. Part of a plan to make Abu Dhabi Island a Public Transport Green Zone by 2030, this initiative cuts carbon emissions by 200 tonnes daily – equal to removing 14,700 cars. Serving 6,000 passengers daily between Marina Mall and Al Reem Island, the transition enhances sustainability while maintaining comfort and efficiency.
Abu Dhabi Mobility is expanding green bus routes, including Route 160 and A2, as part of its sustainability efforts. Using hydrogen and battery technology, these zero-emission buses reduce greenhouse gases and energy consumption. Continuous monitoring enhances service quality and passenger experience.
