Deals on wholesale and expedited shipping enhance customers’ LuLu experiences.
The opening of two new concept stores by The LuLu Group, which will offer customers a novel way to shop across the spectrum of retail, has boosted the company’s ambitious expansion plans in the United Arab Emirates.
The group’s Dubai regional headquarters building, Y Tower, in Al Qusais 4, Dubai, houses the first store, a LuLu Express Supermarket, which opened today. The second concept store, the brand-new LuLu Logistics, and Wholesale Center in Al Noud, Al Ain, focuses on wholesale shopping and offers goods in large quantities at the best prices.
On Monday, July 25, Mr. Ahamed Omran Al Ameri opened the Al Noud wholesale concept store; today, Mr. Abdullah Saeed Salem ALZaabbi, Director of External Branches Department, Dubai Economy, opened the Dubai LuLu Express.
With a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and seafood sections, grocery, bakery, hot food, deli, frozen foods, health and beauty products, and home goods, the one-level, small LuLu Express store offers customers ease and convenience.
This medium-sized store is an example of the LuLu Group’s quick response to customers’ most recent shopping preferences. Many of these customers prefer to shop in smaller quantities closer to their homes or places of business to avoid traffic and crowded big hypermarkets while still taking advantage of big format stores’ price advantages.
Businesses looking for high quality at wholesale prices can find it at the LuLu Logistics and Wholesale Center in Al Noud, Al Ain. It is a LuLu Group innovation along the lines of international discount brands and is anticipated to alter the UAE retail landscape.
“The LuLu Group has emerged from the recent lull of the pandemic years with a strong and vigorous global growth blueprint—we believe that leading corporate brands like ours must show the way in the economic resurgence taking place today,” said Mr. Yusuff Ali M.A., Chairman and Managing Director of the LuLu Group, “Both these stores, which address completely different shopping needs, are signal that we believe in listening to our customers and staying flexible to accommodate their changing shopping preferences. I am particularly pleased that these store innovations have been opened in the UAE where, as a “home-grown global brand” we are very closely aligned to the vision of progress and growth of the UAE leaders.”
“Though hypermarkets continue to be our primary focus area, we also intend to open more of these new-format stores to cater to the growing demand of B2B customers and of suburbs and gated communities. The strong brand loyalty and location advantage will surely help these new concept stores become a dominant player in this sector also,” Yusuff Ali M.A. added.
Both store types support the Group’s aggressive global expansion strategy, which is being driven by its flagship hypermarkets, cutting-edge supply chain and logistics operations, and shopping malls, while also setting the bar for the retail industry through innovation and responsiveness to consumer needs.
The Group has established a global retail empire that includes hypermarkets, supermarkets, shopping centers, express stores, supply chain offices, and warehouses. The Group has also gained customer loyalty through its immersive retail strategy, which includes experiential, curated shopping, midnight sales, and a focus on the needs of its clients.
