Procedure to apply for Chile Visa from Abu Dhabi, UAE
- For visits of up to 90 days, some nationals are permitted to enter Chile with nothing more than their passport (and occasionally just an ID card). They will be given a Tourist Card by the immigration officials upon arrival, but those nationals are not required to apply for a visa to Chile in advance of their trip.
- A minimum of 30 days before your intended departure is required to apply for a Chilean visa. The Chilean authorities do not offer a fast application process, and they do not accept applications that are submitted less than 30 days before departure.

- Your passport must have at least another six months left on it.

Types of visa
1. Transitory stay permit
Is a migration status that permits foreigners to enter and remain in Chile as long as their stay does not exceed 90 days. It is given by the National Migration Service (SERMIG), which is under the Ministry of the Interior and Public Security.
2. Chile Work visa
a certificate is given to foreign nationals who have secured employment in Chile. You must already be employed by a Chilean company or a foreign corporation with operations in Chile.
3. Student visa
a document was given to foreign nationals who wish to study in Chile. Before traveling, you must be accepted or enrolled in a Chilean educational institution.
