What’s included in Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi

In partnership with Richard Mille, a Swiss watchmaker, we have developed an annual exhibition and art prize that highlights the exceptional contemporary art scene of UAE and GCC.
When it comes to GCC artists, we’d like to hear from you. The theme for this year’s exhibition is ‘Iconic’ and we’d want you to submit a proposal.
Read our 2022 call for proposals first. It contains all the information you need to apply. Finally, submit your application by completing the online form and enclosing the necessary supporting documentation.
There were 167 new pieces added to the permanent collection in 2020, including works by artists including Vasily Kandinsky, Claude Monet, Jackson Pollock, Edouard Vuillard, and Johannes Vermeer, who generously loaned their works to the museum.
Each year, the Louvre Abu Dhabi presents four major special exhibitions in partnership with our renowned French museum partners, which comprise masterpieces from their permanent collections.
It’s great for families with children between the ages of 4 and 10, and it’s free for youngsters under the age of 12.
